We started asking around to see if people had any “history” on the previous owners and we hit a jackpot! Glenn Zygmont, son of Al Zygmont who was the owner of the “Homestead”, now the “Grill ‘N Chill”, from 1974 till approximately 1982, had done a “Foxfire” report while attending Smith Academy.
Al chose his report to be on the history of 127 Elm Street. He supplied us with his report, pictures, old menus, etc. In addition, we have some history from the Paddock and Smithsonian days, and we are still looking! If you have any old photos or anything you’d like to share, we’d love to see it!
